How to Connect Salesforce Storage Server?

This section outlines the step-by-step process required to set up and configure the Salesforce Files storage server with docuWeaver. Using this storage option, attachments can be uploaded from one Salesforce org and stored under the Files of another Salesforce instance.

Pre-requisites

Before configuring Salesforce Files storage to store attachments under the Files of another Salesforce instance, it is necessary to set up secure connectivity between the two Salesforce orgs. This is achieved by configuring both an Authentication Provider and Named Credentials.

 

Begin by creating a storage profile as shown below:

Select Storage Type as Salesforce and provide the additional information detailed below.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Complete the storage profile form with all required details.

  2. In the Named Credentials option, select the credentials that were created earlier during the prerequisite setup
