In this section, we will guide you through creating an event in noKodr.

Before proceeding to the next step, it's important to understand what an Event is.

Steps to create an Event

  1. Start by creating a layout.

  1. Open created layout, and select Events from building blocks at left side of Layout.

Note: If you have created Record Layout, you will have some predefined events which will be immutable in nature. We can see SaveRecord, Criteria : 1, Cancel and SaveAndNewRecord as events.

Building Block: Events

  1. Click on + button, to open new event creation screen.

  1. Fill the details Label and Name. Click on + to specify Event Variables.

  1. Fill the details Label, Name, Field Type, Default Value, Required and Is Array?

  1. Click on Save button to save the Event Variables.

  2. Click on Save button to save created Event. Here, your Event is Created.
