How to Integrate Signing Platforms with docuWeaver
Overview
This section outlines the process of integrating supported e-signature applications with docuWeaver to enable sending documents for electronic signatures.
In this example, we will demonstrate the integration using DocuSign. You can follow the same process to connect other supported platforms, such as Adobe Sign.
Steps to Connect docuWeaver with Signing Platform
Open the App Launcher in Salesforce and select the docuWeaver application.
Click the Doc Generator tab.
Navigate to the Connection Provider section and click on New.
Setup docusign esignatureProvide the required information:
Adapter: Select docuSign as the adapter.
Auth Type: Select the authentication method, such as OAuth2.
Name and Label: Enter appropriate values.
Integrate docuSign
You can fill out other optional details such as the Logo URL, Email, and Description. Additionally, you can provide OAuth Configuration details if you want to override the default DocuSign connected app credentials, such as the Client ID and Client Secret.
Integrate docuSignClick Save to store the connection provider details.
Navigate to the Connections section and click on New.
Integrate docuSignProvide the following information:
Connection Provider: Select the connection provider created in the previous step.
Name and Label: Enter appropriate values.
Click Save and Connect.
Integrate docuSignThe system will redirect to the docuSign account for authentication. Log in with the required credentials and allow the requested permissions.
Once these steps are completed, the integration between docuSign and docuWeaver will be established, enabling the sending of documents for e-signature directly from the docuWeaver application
Follow the same process to connect other signing platforms, such as Adobe Sign, by selecting the corresponding adapter in Step 4.
