Steps to Add PWR Components to Record Page, Home Page, Communities and Flows:

Add to Lightning Page

  1. Go to the Lightning App Builder page by clicking 'Edit Page' from the gear icon on the Home page or Record Detail page.

  2. Navigate to the Custom - Managed section in the left-hand sidebar.

  1. Drag your configured component from the sidebar and drop it onto the Lightning page wherever you want to display it.

Note: Based on the page type selected during configuration, a list of configuration names will appear here for Home Lightning or Record Lightning Page.

If you select 'Record Type' as the page type, the configuration will not appear in the list of configurations on the homepage.

  1. Select the required configuration from the right-hand sidebar.

  1. Save & Activate the Page.

Add to Community Page (Experience Cloud)

Before you begin, ensure that your community is set up. Click here for details on setting up the community. Additionally, make sure you have the required community license for the PWR Component application and the necessary permissions for community users to access the component from the community site.

  1. Go to the Community Builder for your site

  1. Navigate to the desired page and click on the Components section.

  2. Go to the Custom Components section.

  1. Drag the required component and drop it onto the page wherever you want to place it.

  2. Select the required configuration from the right-hand side.

  3. Publish the site.

Add to Screen Flow

  1. Go to Flows

  2. Create a New Screen flow

  3. Add a Screen element to the flow.

  4. Navigate to the Custom Component section.

  1. Drag the required component and drop it into the Screen.

  2. Provide the API name and required configuration name for the component.

  1. Enter the Record ID using merge text. {!recordId} retrieves the record ID of the record page on which the screen flow is placed. Alternatively, you can enter a specific Record ID as a static value.

Note: {!recordId} retrieves the ID of the record page where the screen flow is placed.

  1. Provide a Name and Label for the Screen Flow, then activate it.
